My analytics seem a bit off? What could be causing this?

There is typically a 24 hour delay on your analytics reporting in your Anchor dashboard. We recommend checking back in 24 hours to see if your data looks correct. If not, please reach out to us so we can look into it further for you.

What does estimated audience size mean?

Estimated audience size is the average number of listens each of your episodes gets in the first 30 days after publishing. So basically, "how many people typically hear each of my new episodes, recently?" It is important to note that this number will fluctuate depending on the frequency with which you publish new podcast episodes.

I see listeners from unexpected locations! How accurate is the geographical data on Anchor analytics?

It can often be the case that a specific player is accurately reporting the number of listens, but that they are reporting them from a specific location of their data center. For this reason you may see locations in your geographical data that you may not expect.
