Having a mute button should help a lot in order to avoid external noise in the podcasts.

I agree. I would like to have a Mute button for Host and Guest with a Master Mute button with the Host.
As I have lot of Guest appearing on my Podcast. I request for arranging a mute button for smooth and convinent flow. It will surely add huge value to the quality of podcast.

Absoluteley and essential. Especially as Record with friends results in a merged audio track, noise on one side can fully destroy the recording, even though the speaker sits in the most silent space.
There needs to be a Mute feature added for each participant. I like the idea of the host having a mute control not only for themselves but for each guest.
